Rock 'n RollerCoaster Minimum height 1.2m, looping rollercoaster. Fastpass available. On-ride photo. This is the only rollercoaster in the new park, but it is one of the best attractions in the whole resort. It is similar to Space Mountain (it is the same type of rollercoaster and you ride in the dark), yet it is also unique. There is no lift hill, and instead you accelerate to nearly 60 mph in the first couple of seconds of the ride, whilst still on flat track. During the ride you experience loud rock music (by Aerosmith) and encounter a corkscrew and other loops. It is not as dark as Space Mountain so you get to see some of the track ahead - it could be argued that this takes some of the excitement away, but it is interesting to know what the 'Cadillac' train is doing. The Fastpass queue is particularly quick for this ride, as the Studios park was built after the Fastpass system was introduced. Whilst waiting to board you get to see Aerosmith in their recording studio, talking about the rollercoaster you are about to ride. As you exit the attraction you should walk through the ride's own gift shop, where you can buy Rock 'n RollerCoaster souvenirs.
